I dedicate this painting to Leta Jones for A Special Place. Her encouragement and unconditional love for me is such a blessing in my life.
My passion to share Jesus’ light to many was revealed through the gift of the Holy Spirit. My dear friend Leta asked me to prepare a logo for her dream place called “A Special Place”. This request came on April 13, 2004. At this time it was my lifelong dream to paint Angels on canvas using oil but I certainly had no experience in painting.
I was given a vision for the painting over the next months. God guided my hands to complete this oil painting after 3 short sessions, Jeanne Brooks is my gifted art instructor, who gives me wonderful guidance and encouragement, thank you and bless you Jeanne, you are one of my Angels on earth.
On June 16, 2004, a very special lady, Ruth Toews gave a scripture to Leta for A Special Place…See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared…Exodus 23:20 NIV
It is my prayer that this painting will bring blessings to everyone it is shared with and that they would long to know more about Jesus’ light and love.
